The Amarillo Lonestar Lions Club was chartered when two Lions Clubs in Amarillo merged into one.
These two Clubs, The South Amarillo Club chartered in 1947, and the Amarillo Southwest Club chartered in 1988, combined to form what we now know to be one of the finest Lions Clubs in Amarillo.
